It has been confirmed that the 2024 edition of the popular Festival Internacional de Xàbia will be taking place between Thursday 4th July and Saturday 6th July in Avenida Augusta next to IES La Mar, an event that clearly demonstrates the richness of the nationalities that live together in the town.

The president of the organising committee, Raúl de Lope, explained that the 29th edition of this popular festival will have 19 participating countries in addition to Spain, including Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, England, Germany, Italy, Madagascar, Mexico, Morocco, Poland, the Republic of Ireland, Switzerland, Uruguay, the USA, and Venezuela. In addition, the Cruz Roja Xàbia and the Voluntarios de Balcón al Mar will also be present.

He added that not only does the festival showcase the gastronomy of each country but also serves to promote the culture and traditions of them. He also called the event an ideal occasion to meet up and highlighted that many visitors tend to gather around their country of origin.

Mayor Rosa Cardona congratulated the organisers for their hard work in organizing the event which she said brings together half the world in a single stretch of avenue, allowing the visitor to move from country to country in just a few minutes.
