Xàbia tenders for the contract to prune trees at height in municipal spaces

The governing board at the town hall in Xàbia has approved the specifications to tender the service of pruning at height of the trees that are located on public roads, parks and municipal gardens. The contract has a bidding budget of 120,109.44 euros per year and a duration of two years, with the possibility of extension.
Among other conditions, the local council will require that the contractor provide the necessary specific machinery, such as the aerial platform lorry to carry out work at height, another crane truck with a forestry clamp and manual tools for pruning as well as a blower, brooms and rakes for the collection of waste.
This contract seeks to carry out a balanced maintenance of trees in the urban areas, stop excessive growth that affects public lighting and address risk interventions in exceptional circumstances, such as strong winds.
