The Xàbia Commerce Gala Night has become an essential annual event, not only to reward the best businesses, but also to highlight the importance of local business. Mayor Rosa Cardona explained that “local businesses in Xàbia are much more than [that]; they are the ones who keep the pulse of our municipality alive. They are places where human relations are more important than economic transactions, where close contact and mutual knowledge become the true values that unite us. When we enter a local business, we do not only acquire a product or a service, but we enter an essential part of our social and economic fabric, and that is what makes Xàbia a special place.”

The councillor responsible for Commerce, Juanlu Cardona, underlined the capacity for adaptation and innovation of local commerce, especially in a context where digitalisation and sustainability play a key role. “Our businesses have been able to adapt to the new times, offering quality products and services that strengthen the social and economic fabric of our municipality“.

The gala concluded with a thank you to all the businesses and attendees for their participation in this celebration, stressing that commerce in Xàbia has a promising future thanks to the involvement of all its stakeholders. The evening ended in an atmosphere of optimism, with the hope of continuing to strengthen local commerce and making Xàbia a prosperous place full of opportunities.
