Xàbia receives grant of 360,000 euros to promote recycling
The grant will cover expenses incurred during both 2023 and 2024.

The town hall in Xàbia has received a grant of 361,857 euros from the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, Climate Emergency and Ecological Transition at the Generalitat Valenciana for the collection of urban waste in the municipality.
The funding is designed to collaborate in the implementation of new collection systems that encourage recycling, especially with regards to bio-waste, as well as improving existing systems.
The Department of Services are assessing how to allocate this important aid since there are many new services that are being implemented in the municipality since the start of the new rubbish collection contract last year.
The grant will cover expenses incurred during both 2023 and 2024.
