Xàbia Council will reopen the bidding process for the surveillance, first aid and health land transport service on the beaches of the municipality to modify the specifications and include as a mandatory clause the subrogation of 100% of the employees.
In the new specifications, the categories and seniority of the permanent seasonal employees who have been part of the staff assigned to the Cruz Roja in recent years are incorporated in the new contract, thus guaranteeing that, regardless of who wins the tender, these employees maintain their positions.
For the Council, it is important to give stability to these employees and, at the same time, ensures that this service has personnel with training and experience.
The new specifications will be published shortly on the public procurement platform for its new tender. The beach surveillance contract costs 453,100 euros per year and will be valid for two years, with an option to extend for two more years.
