Xàbia prepares a spooky evening full of fun and terror
The Bubotafest Halloween Party will be taking place on Saturday 26th October in the Plaza de la Constitución.
The Fogueres Commission, in collaboration with the Xàbia Council and the Department of Equality, is organising a chilling and fun evening to celebrate Halloween. The event, known as BubotaFest, will take place on Saturday 26th October in the Plaza de la Constitución with a programme full of activities for all ages.
The evening will begin at 6.00pm with a terrifying parade, an activity set on the scariest night of the year. The parade will be accompanied by the vibrant and ghostly percussion of the samba-style drummers of BATUCAM and will begin its route from Plaza de la Marina Alta (Correos).
At 6.30pm, the little ones will be able to enjoy the children’s show ‘Irene, la niña que no tiene miedo’, a work designed to entertain and teach children to face their fears in a creative and entertaining way.
For those who wish to continue the party in a good atmosphere, a ‘tardeo’ has been organised with a bar service of food and drinks, ideal for enjoying this festive day with family or friends.
From 8.30pm, the fun will continue with a pop-rock disco, ideal for lovers of live music. And to close the night, at 11.00pm, attendees will be able to enjoy a second disco, this time by Bitsound, which promises to thrill the bravest until midnight.
