Xàbia police participate in Lifesaving and Sea Rescue workshop

Four officers from the Local Police of Xàbia have participated in a Lifesaving and Sea Rescue Workshop organized by the Military Emergency Unit aimed at State Security Forces and Bodies.
During the workshop, the officers improved their training and their response capacity in emergencies at sea, where a large number of rescues take place since they have to cover more than 25 kilometres of coastline in Xàbia.
The councillor for Citizen Security and Emergencies, Juan Ortolá, thanked the Military Emergency Unit for always “counting on Xàbia” for this type of training and stressed that “day after day the police continue to improve their training to deal with all situations that are produced in our municipality.
