Xàbia opens voluntary payment period for IBI and IAE
Taxpayers will have until October 23 to pay these two municipal taxes.

The Department of Finance and Contracting has announced that the period for voluntary payment of IBI (Property Tax) and IAE (Business Tax) has opened today Monday 7th August and will remain open until Monday 23rd October.
The responsible councillor, Teresa Legay, explained that taxpayers will receive the tax demand for these taxes by post which they can then pay at the collaborating banks – Banco Santander, Cajamar, Banco Sabadell and Caixabank – as well as online via the council’s Virtual Tax Office which is open 24/7.
Those who have chosen to pay these taxes by direct debit will see the amount due collected on August 21st.
If residents do not receive the tax demand – or have misplaced it – they can request a duplicate in person from the council offices of Área Económica in Carrer Mayor, Nº 15 (next to Embruix) on weekdays between 9.00am and 2.00pm.
Councillor Legay stressed the importance that residents pay these taxes within the voluntary period to avoid any unnecessary extra costs which will be applied for late payment.
