Xàbia library launches new LGTBI section
A brochure with all the titles included in the new section has been prepared as well as the literary recommendations from the journalist Anna Boluda

The Xàbia Library has got together with the Department of Equality to launch a new LGTBI-themed section in each of its locations where there will be books, publications, comic studies and digital resources on sexual diversity. The content has been selected after solid work over the past few months from the entire Library team: Josep Castelló, Paco Català, Carlos Salvà, Enrique Sánchez, Jesús San Pedro, Josep Buigues and Mar Tarrazona.
LGTBI-themed literature is suitable for all audiences and the key to knowing and respecting. It is also especially interesting for the LGTBI community that seeks references, especially after references to sexual orientations and different gender identities have been scare or even hidden for decades.
Xàbia Council has taken advantage of the fact that June is the month of tolerance and in which LGTBI Pride is commemorated to inaugurate this new resource with which it continues with the commitment to education and visibility of diversity.
The Library has prepared a brochure with all the titles included in the new section as well as the literary recommendations from the journalist Anna Boluda who recommends her choice of books.
