Xàbia keeps Blue Flag status for the beaches of La Grava, Arenal and La Granadella
The Comunidad Valenciana continues to be the leader in Spain for blue flag status facilities.

The Environmental Education association has announced which beaches and marinas have achieved the distinction of blue flag status, a recognition in which the Comunidad Valenciana continues to be the leader in Spain.
In the Marina Alta region, blue flags have been maintained for the beaches of Dénia, Xàbia, Benitatxell, Teulada-Moraira, Benissa and Calp, as well as the marinas.
- Xàbia: L’Arenal; Cala Granadella; La Grava
- Dénia: Les Bovetes; Les Deveses; Les Marines; Marineta Cassiana; Molins; Punta del Raset
- El Poble Nou de Benitatxell: Cala del Moraig
- Teulada-Moraira: El Portet; La Ampolla; Les Platgetes
- Benissa: Cala Fustera
- Calp: Cantal Roig; La Fossa; L’Arenal-Bol
The marines that have also been recognized are:
- Real Club Náutico Dénia
- Marina de Dénia
- Club Náutico Jávea
- Club Náutico Les Bassetes (Benissa)
- Real Club Náutico Calp
