Xàbia installs sustainable bike racks on the coast
The racks have been constructed from the discarded wood and will be placed at strategic points along the coast.

The Department of Services has reported that the municipal brigade has been installing bicycle racks in different parts of the coast of Xàbia in a DIY exercise of exploitation, since they have been made from the remains of wood, such as that recently placed along the Primer Muntanyar.
The result is a number of bike racks with a capacity for 5 bicycles which are perfectly integrated into the landscape at no cost.
At the moment, two have been installed along the Primer Muntanyar, this making it easier to use sustainable transport to go to the beach after its part-pedestrianization.
It is planned to install more bike racks along the same stretch of coastline as well as other areas such as Calablanca, Barraca and Granadella.
