The sun shone brightly on the 40th edition of the traditional craft fair – Fira d’Artesania 2025 – which took place in the historic centre over the extended Easter weekend, a hugely popular event in which some 80 stalls lining the Placeta del Convent and Plaá del Baix, connected by those in Carrer Major, offered everything from hand-made crafts to tasty food and drink.

As always, the event was officially opened by the Fogueres Queen and her junior counterpart – the 2024 representatives Ángela Tachó and Claudia García – who were accompanied by the musicians of the Colla Xirimitab’s in a brief tour of the fair, accompanied by the mayor Rosa Cardona and other representatives from the local council.

The weekend includes the now-traditional annual concert by the Colla Xirimitab’s, music in the streets provided by La Romàntica del Saladar, traditional dancing with the Grup de Danses Portitxol, and workshops for both adults and children.
