Xàbia businesses won’t give up if they have the support of local residents
A new campaign calls on shoppers to support local business over online shopping giants

The Federation of Organisations in Xàbia (FORXA), made up of the business associations of Xàbia Històrica, Xàbia Port, Xàbia Arenal and the Mercat Municipal de Xàbia, has launched a new campaign to encourage shopping locally rather than using large online commerce platforms.
A video supporting the campaign, created thanks to funding from the regional ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labour through the commercial and revitalization projects promoted Unió Gremial and which has the support of Xàbia Council, is divided into two parts.
The first part conveys the message that large online commercial platforms are forcing many local businesses to close, whilst the second part sends a hopeful message that, with the support of the local residents, the shutters are raised again and the shops can carry on trading.
