Traffic diversions in place for Festival Internacional de Xàbia
The popular international event will be taking place between Thursday 4th July and Saturday 6th July.
The 29th edition of the popular FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE XÀBIA will be taking place from Thursday 4th July to Saturday 6th July on a section of Avinguda Augusta next to the IES La Mar high school which will result in a number of traffic diversions put in place from Tuesday 2nd July.
On Tuesday 2nd, the section of Carrer Génova from numbers 1,3,5 to the junction with Calle Bolonia will have restricted two-way access only for residents to be able to access their homes.
From Wednesday 3rd July, the section of Calle Bolonia between Avinguda Augusta and Carrer Genóva will change direction and the temporary traffic flow will remain in place until Sunday 7th July.
From Thursday 4th July, access to Avinguda Augusta between the roundabout in Avinguda dels Furs and the roundabout next to the IES La Mar high school at the junction with Calle Bolonia will be entirely closed to traffic.
At the end of the event, the area will be returned to normal on Sunday 7th July when all the stands have been removed.
