TRADIDANSES FESTIVAL ARRIVES IN XÀBIA THIS WEEKEND

Organised by the Grup de Danses Portitxol, the event will follow all the necessary COVID-19 health measures.

This weekend, the annual Tradidanses festival of traditional music and dance will be taking place and, like all cultural activities, the event will be held in accordance with all the necessary COVID-19 health measures in place.

Organised by the Grup de Danses Portitxol, the event will be taking place on Saturday 19th September in the grounds of the Ruirau d’Arnauda which is located amongst the trees in the Parque Montaner above the main square.

At 11.00am, there will be a percussion workshop given by Carles Mulet and Héctor Peropadre. At 4.00pm, there will be a dance workshop by Isabel García and Dani Carbello before the event is brought to a close at 8.00pm with a performance by singer Christian Penalba, who specializes in popular Valencian music and will be presenting his new album “Canvis”.

Those wanting to attend the event will need to register in advance by telephoning 636-656-642 (between 10.00am and 2.00pm) and should remember that the use of a facemask, hand disinfection and maintaining interpersonal distances are all mandatory. Once a seat has been assigned, attendees will not be able to change places or wander around the venue.

The doors will be opened in advance to assist with the staggered entry of the public and they will be closed once the show begins.
