TOURIST OFFICES MAKES BROCHURES EASILY AVAILABLE ONLINE

The Department of Tourism in Xàbia has adapted to the health and safety requirements put in force to face ‘new normal’ after the COVID-19 lockdown by providing easy access to its digitized promotional material, such as guides and maps. Special posters have been hung outside the three Tourist Info offices in the historic centre, the port and the Arenal which provide QR codes to access the digital pamphlets which provide streets maps and information on natural areas, sea practices, walking and cycling routes. They are available in several languages, including English.

The objective is to improve communication with visitors, even when the tourist information offices are closed, as well as favour sustainable actions through the use of new technologies. In addition, it also enhances social and health safety since its provides an option to receive the information whilst maintaining social distancing.
