Time capsule to be buried beneath municipal swimming pool
The event will take on Friday 24th February at 5.00pm and all sports clubs are invited to attend.

Xàbia Council celebrates an act loaded with symbolism in the works of the municipal indoor swimming pool this Friday and with which it will record the rich and varied sports family of the municipality.
The Department of Sports has asked all the clubs to choose a representative object or document about their group to place it in a time capsule that will be buried in the foundations of this important sports infrastructure, thus uniting what has been a historical claim with a message for the future of what sport means for Xàbia today, not only at the health level but also social and associative.
The event, in which the mayor, José Chulvi, and the Councilor for Sports, Alberto Tur, will participate, will be at 5.00pm on Friday 24th, in what will be the entrance to the pool (on Calle Manuel Bordes Valls) and all clubs are invited to attend.
The time capsule will remain underground waiting for it to be reopened – at least 25 years from now – so that other generations can discover this special legacy left during the construction of the pool.
