The national Ferrer Cup tennis tournament will be hosted in Xàbia
The tournament will feature prominent tennis players such as Iñigo Cervantes and Sergi Pérez.
Xàbia will be hosting FERRER CUP II, a prestigious national tennis tournament organised by the Ferrer Tennis Academy in collaboration with IBP Tennis. The event will be held at the facilities of Club de Tenis Jávea in the Arenal and promises to offer a first-class spectacle for all tennis lovers.
The tournament will begin with the preliminary phase which will be played over the weekend of October 19th and 20th. The final phase will begin on Monday 21st October with the semi-finals to be held at 6.00pm on Friday 25th October and the grand final being played at 11.00am on Saturday 26th October.
The tournament has a prize fund of €6,000 with the champion receiving €2,000 and the runner-up €1,000. The semi-finalists will receive €500 each whilst those players who reach the quarter-finals will be awarded €250 each and those who reach the round of 16 will receive €125 each.
Among the participants will be prominent tennis players such as Iñigo Cervantes, who reaching #55 in the world ranking, and Sergi Pérez, a young local tennis player from Dénia who trained at the Ferrer Tennis Academy and has managed to reach #480 in the world ranking.
The event is supported by important brands and companies, including: Head, IBP, Clínica Phi, Heineken, Peugeot, HLA San Carlos, NDL Pro Health, Segurija, Club de Tenis Jávea, Xàbia Esports and Lotto.
