Club Náutico Jávea will host the Spanish Raceboard Cup from May 25 to 28, which will bring together the elite of this class of competition sailing that will fill the bay of Xàbia with colour through its characteristic sails.

“This class is classic windsurfing” explained the manager, who added that there are more than 60 participants who have registered in the three categories: Absolute Raceboard (male and female), Raceboard U·23 (male and female) and Raceboard Master (male and female) for those sailors who were born in 1982 or before.
The participants will be coming from all over the Iberian Peninsula: Catalonia, the Basque Country, Madrid, Murcia, Galicia, the Balearic Islands, and Cantabria, together withthose from the Comunidad Valenciana, among them most of the Bic Techno fleet of the Club Náutico Jávea: José Luis Boronat Roda, Noor Saidi, Pablo Monparler, Arnau Muñoz, Júlia Martínez, Jorge Monparler and José Luis Boronat Suay.
Nogueroles explained that Club Náutico Jávea will mobilize “between 15 and 20 people” so that everything goes perfectly “prioritizing the safety of participants at sea”, including staff from the regatta office, assistants, markers and judges, together with the support of the seafaring staff and the club office. “We have an exceptional regatta field and the support of Xàbia that always turns to us in these events, and contributes to making it a success”.
Commodore Alejandro de Liniers has stressed that the DNA of the Jávea Yacht Club “is to promote water sports in all its aspects” and praised the support of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation and the Sailing Federation of the Comunitat Valenciana that has “trusted our club for this appointment on the national calendar”.
The commodore also praised the support of Xàbia Council in this event, as well as the General Directorate of l’Esport through the Comunitat de l’Esport program, the Fundación Trinidad Alfonso and the Association of Yacht Clubs of the Comunitat Valenciana. He added that the yacht club has always had the support of the council in “all the initiatives that we implement”, as well as the municipal water company AMJASA.
The councilor responsible for Sports, Alberto Tur, thanked the Club Náutico Jávea for organizing a Spanish Cup in the municipality. “We are very happy to host this event, since Xàbia is a town that is between the mountains and the sea and our Mediterranean Sea is a sports facility that allows sports to be practiced all year round”.
