The concert ‘Empatía’ opens the 2023 Jazz a 100 season this Friday

Jazz returns to Xàbia through the JAZZ A 100 season promoted by the Department of Culture. On this occasion, the proposal is a highly original project that bears the stamp of the renowned Valencian saxophonist Latino Blanco, who joins forces with the Navarra pianist Kontxi Lorente to present “Empatía”, a unique duet work between a piano and a baritone sax.
The live performance is joined by a young percussion talent, Eva Catalá, who wraps with her personal rhythms the elegance of a repertoire full of original songs and versions of precious standards.
The concert will be this Friday 3rd March at 8.00pm at the Casa de Cultura. Tickets, priced at 5 euros, can be purchased in advance online here.
