The Arts and Crafts Fair in Jávea Port extra days in December
With Christmas in mind, the participants want to give the public more opportunities to buy or order original gifts.
One of the attractions of the port of Jávea is the weekly arts and crafts fair, which is held every Sunday morning. Around a dozen artists and craftsmen from the area sell their own work on a beautiful stretch of the promenade, right on the beach and with a wonderful view of the port and the surrounding mountains.
With Christmas in mind, the participants want to give the public more opportunities to buy or order original gifts. That is why they will also set up their stalls on Saturday mornings from 30th November till 5th January, with the same opening hours: from 11.00am till 2.00pm (or even later).
And on the long weekend of 6th, 7th and 8th December (the 6th is a national holiday) they will organise a special Christmas market with more stalls, which will be open for three days from 11 in the morning to 7.00pm in the evening.
Plenty of opportunities to find very special gifts for everyone, fathers and mothers, sons, daughters and friends, because each stall offers something different in the most diverse materials. There is pottery, leather, papermache, fabric and wood; jewelry made of silver, macramé, aluminum, shells and leather, hobby horses and cuddly toys, too many to mention! There is even time to have a portrait made (even of your dog or cat!) on canvas or paper, on a stone or painted on wood.
