The Antiques Roadshow meets the Arts Society Marina Alta
Journalist Marc Allum will be speaking at two presentations in Moraira and Jávea.
On Wednesday 2nd October, the Arts Society Marina Alta will be hosting a special event called “The Anatomy of Collecting” by Marc Allum, a freelance art and antiques journalist, writer and broadcaster who has been a miscellaneous specialist on the BBC Antiques Roadshow since 1998 and has appeared on numerous television and radio programmes.
Marc will be offering a hugely entertaining presentation on the psychology, folklore and history of collecting through the millennia, showcasing collectors of all time, including Catherine the Great, while also explaining how the popular TV programme ‘The Antiques Roadshow’ works.
The presentations will be taking place on Wednesday 2nd October in Moraira and Jávea. Come for the story and stay for the social!
