The 31st edition of the Montgó Cross Country Race will take place on October 15th
Registration is now open for the raceorganized by Club Esportiu Llebeig and Club de Muntanya i Atletisme La Faixa de Jesús Pobre.
Club Esportiu Llebeig de Xàbia and Club de Muntanya i Atletisme La Faixa de Jesús Pobre have organised a new edition of the popular ‘Cross Baix Montgó cross-country race that will be run between two municipalities on Sunday 15th October.
The 31st edition of the 12 kilometre race will begin in the Plaza de la Constitución at 9.00am and run through the valley below the southern cliffs of the Montgó massif along Camí Vell de Gata to the finish-line in Calle Pinaret de Jesús Pobre, next to the Ruirau de Benissadeví.
There will be five categories: Senior, Youth, Veteran A, Veteran B and Veteran C for both men and woman with trophies available for the top three in each and a separate trophy for the first place in each category from each of the two organizing athletics clubs.
Registration, which costs 8 euros, is now open and will remain so until Friday 13th October and can be made online here.
The president of Club Esportiu Llebeig de Xàbia, Madelane Powell, joined with a representative of the club’s board of directors, José Palacio, and the secretary of the Club de Muntanya i Atletisme La Faixa de Jesús Pobre, Lluís Fornés, to present details of the race to the councillors responsible for sports in both municipalities, Toni Molina (Xàbia) and Lluís Signes (Jesús Pobre) at one of the checkpoints along the route that the runners will travel on October 15th.
The tax demands will be delivered to the home. If not received, they can be downloaded from the Oficina Virtual Tributaria (click here) or in person at the Oficial de Atención al Público in Calle Mayor, 15.
