Thalassa is the new beach bar in Xàbia, located on Avenida de Ultramar on the Second Muntanyar between the Arenal and Cala Blanca.

The bar is right on the edge of the sea and this is precisely what its name evokes, since Thalassa was the primordial goddess of the Mediterranean Sea in Greek mythology, and whose most important cities give their names to the streets that surround this new hospitality business: Larissa, Atenas, Esparta, Tesalónica, Mikonos.

With a careful menu, it is Antonio Torres and José Luis Cardona who have tried to implement the concept of Mediterranean cuisine with international fusion. The most traditional tapas, rice dishes, meat and fish; all of them are prepared with care by the kitchen team led by Pepe Fiume, who have experience in many of the best venues in Xàbia and the Marina Alta.

Thalassa invites you to enjoy the moment and have a good time, offering an assorted menu for the whole: the “All Day Brunch” as well as a select menu for lunch and dinner. It offers a moment to taste some of its suggestions, such as ‘Dim sun de piloto de putxero’, tempura cod with crunchy seaweed, or cuttlefish noodles in green sauce, all of which can be completed with a selection of meat or fish. You can also choose between six types of rice dishes, including Valencian paella and an Iberian pork and boletus paella.

When it comes to drinking, Thalassa Jávea presents a bodega with a great selection of wines from a variety of grapes, which allows a perfect pairing with the dishes on the menu.

You can reserve your table at Thalassa Jávea on +34 617 63 36 68.
