Sports department acquires new electric vehicle

The Department of Sports in Xàbia has demonstrated its continued commitment to the promotion of sustainable policies by acquiring a new electric vehicle – a van – which will be used by its staff to travel to various facilities when making arrangements or carrying out maintenance work.
Councillor Alberto Tur (Sports) highlighted the commitment of his department to the environment, which has included the elimination of the use of plastics in sports events, replacing them with reusable glasses, installing fountains as a source of water at the finish lines, and using traditional pitchers around the course.
