Almost all publicly-funded schools in the Comunidad Valenciana completed the first week of face-to-face classes after the Easter holidays without any incident. Of the 1,845 schools in the region, 1,840 – 99.7% – finished the week April 13th-16th with no confined classroom groups.
Of 818,644 students at infant, primary, secondary, bachillerato and vocational training level, 325 tested positive last week, 0.04% of the total. With the application of the necessary health and safety protocols, preventative isolation has been established due to close contact with these positives cases, some 0.03% of the students.
