The family that owns Restaurante Piri-Piri Restaurant on the Paseo Marina Española in the port has announced that it is bringing to a close almost 27 years in charge of one of the most renowned local restaurants in Xàbia.
In a message on his Facebook profile, owner Andrés Ortiz announced that they are closing “this beautiful stage”, giving way to a new opportunity in the premises, and they wanted to “thank you for all the special moments” that they have shared with customers and friends for “all these years”, many of whom – the owner acknowledges – have become “good friends”. Ortiz also had a memory message for all those who have been part of the restaurant team that has “maintained the essence of the Piri-Piri brand.”
Andrés in the living room and his Tali in the kitchen were the alma mater of Piri-Piri, a perfect combination that does not say “goodbye but see you soon”, since they are starting a new project in Xàbia, more details of which will be announced shortly.
