The State Representative Platform for People with Physical and Organic Disabilities (PREDIF) has awarded the accessible tourism badge to the Tourist Information Office in Xàbia Port for its work in improving accessibility in its facilities and services.

This category includes establishments that guarantee people with reduced mobility access to essential common use rooms. From now on, the port’s tourist service office will be included in the TUR4all tourism platform.

Councillor Toni Miragall (Tourism) has positively valued this distinction and explained that Xàbia has been committed to offering resources to people with mobility problems for some years, including the creation of an adapted bathing point on the Arenal beach. In addition, he said that his department is working with the management of the Parque Natural del Montgó to enable an accessible path to the popular picnic area of La Plana.

For many years, you’ve told us how much you love what we’re doing and some of you have even asked for ways to say thanks. For us, there really is nothing easier to show someone how much you appreciate their efforts than buying them a beer (or a wine; or even a coffee) – it’s so simple.
