With the start of the Easter holidays just a few days away, Xàbia Council has been making the necessary preparations to ensure that these days can be enjoyed safely during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Council workers have been working at the popular Parque Pinosol recreation area where they have temporarily sealed off the barbeque area and separated the wooden tables since it is currently not permitted to group them together.
These measures have had to be taken as preventative measures and to avoid crowds due to the use of paelleros and group meals which are popular during Semana Santa and Easter in this recreation zone during normal times. In addition, the monitoring of the zone will be stepped up as part of the Easter security operation.
