They will be hoisted back in position in the bell tower on Monday morning.
The four bells of San Bartolomé have returned to Xàbia after a long restoration process. On Saturday there was a chance to see them up close and personal in the church square and hundreds of residents and curious visitors turned out to do so. Music was provided by Xirimitab’s and the band of CAM Xàbia whilst the guided tours to the top of the bell tower were fully booked. (There will be another chance at Easter).
