Oktoberfest returns to Xàbia this weekend
Isla Bonita will be hosting the beer festival with live music and entertainment for all the family.
The popular Oktoberfest returns to Xàbia this weekend as Isla Bonita opens its doors to another year of Bavarian gastronomy and drink with three days packed with live music and entertainment, including a special day of the young ones.
The festival kicks off on Friday 20th with live music and a DJ session and, in addition to the food and drink available, there will be a special activity zone with games for adults. Music will be provided by the 20/20 Band at 4.00pm, playing a mixture of rock, blues and soul, with DJs Paolo Santo at 7.00pm and Casanova at 9.00pm. Free entry before 9.00pm, there will be a nominal 3 euro charge for the evening.
On Saturday 21st, there will be music provided by Marina Alta band Jean Jass at 4.00pm, Angel Station at 7.00pm and then DJ Nacho Rodriguez at 9.00pm. As with Friday, there will be a special activity zone with games for adults. Entry is free before 9.00pm, after which there will be a 3 euro charge.
On Sunday 22nd, there will be inflatables, children’s games and children’s entertainment between 12 noon and 4.00pm as well as live music from La Tregua at 12 noon and DJ Mata at 4.00pm. Entry is free until 6.00pm, after which there will be a 3 euro charge.
As always, there will be an extensive menu available to enjoy throughout the day and, in addition to the normal Mediterranean menu, there will be sauerkraut, frankfurters, bratwursts, ribs, roast chicken, appelstrubel, kartoffesalat, bretzel, etc.
