Nine companies have bid for the contract to renovate the public street lighting network in the Tosalet estate, a project that the town hall is obliged to carry out by court order after a long-standing demand from the estate’s resident association.

According to information publicly available on the Procurement platform, the companies who have submitted bids are: Aceinsa Levante S.A., Elecnor Servicios y Proyectos S.A.U., Electromat Energía S.L., Electronic Trafic S.A., Imesapi S.A., Nitlux S.A.U., Pavasal Empresa Constructora S.A., Sociedad Ibérica de Construcciones Eléctricas S.A. and Tecnología de la Construcción y Obras Públicas S.A.

The contracting board will first be assessing the technical proposals of each of these nine bids before assessing the economic offer, for which – as always – the lowest bid will attract the most points in the assessment, a total of 80. The remaining 20 points will be linked to various improvement offered by the individual bid, including special features of the street lights, additional guarantees and reduction of the execution period of the project, which is nine months.

The project involves the renovation of all public lighting in the estate, including the replacement of current lights with new ones using LED technology as well as the modernization of the electrical network which was installed when the estate was opened some 50 years ago. It will be carried out in four phases, according to the different zones in which the estate has been divided.
