FOC I FLAMA

A new diversity campaign called “Foc i Flama a les Xarxes!” has been launched by the Department of Equality in Xàbia, aimed at young people in the municipality, available both online and in person at the town’s secondary schools.

The counselors have already visited more than 50 classes in the two schools in the municipality to inform students of the channels that have been made available to them to talk about their doubts and concerns that they may have about emotional and sexual diversity and about sexuality in general. Students can attend in person (by appointment) or send an email to xabiadiversa@gmail.com.

Councillor Montse Villaverde (Equality / Education / Youth) explained that the programme is offered to young people to provide quality information and gender perspective offered by professionals to face the misinformation and instances of LGBT-phobia.
