Nadal Jove i Esportiu faces the final stretch of its most adapted edition

The Plaza de la Constitución has become, this year, the space to host the Nadal Jove i Esportiu de Xàbia that will conclude this Wednesday, December 29. This special activity has left the Palau Municipal d’Esports (a closed enclosure) to be located outside in the open air and comply with one of the main containment measures to prevent the spread of the virus and continue to offer one of the main attractions of local Christmas programming for children and young people and adapt it to the current pandemic situation.

The schedule has also been modified to make the most of the main hours of sunlight of the day and avoid those that are beginning to get dark and colder. In this way, Nadal Jove i Esportiu opens its doors from 9.30am to 1.30 pm and combines workshops, recreational activities and different proposals from the municipality’s sports clubs.

The sports section offers table tennis, athletics, basketball, capoeira, rhythmic gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, chess, karate, football, rugby, volleyball and one of the novelties of this year, rowing. In fact, regarding the latter, the Xàbia Rowing Club organizes an activity this Wednesday 29th December at the Club Náutico de Jávea for those over 12 years old who have registered at its stand at Nadal Jove i Esportiu.

However, the offer does not end there. With the new year approaching, on January 3rd and 4th, there will be two new proposals for young people: La Casa del Grinch and Grinch Escape Room, based around the figure of this antagonist of Christmas. Both will take place from 10.30am to 2.00pm and from 4.00pm to 9.30pm at the Palau Municipal d’Esports and to guarantee the safety of the participants, prior registration and compliance with basic security measures is required.
