Moros i Cristians 2023: This weekend’s road closure information
The presentation ceremony of the Moors and Christians take place this weekend, the formal opening of the week-long fiesta.

Due to the presentation ceremony of the Moors and Christians which will be taking place on Saturday 15th July, the Avenida Lepanto will be closed to traffic between CEIP Port de Xàbia and Avenida dels Furs from 08:00 Friday 14th July.
As a consequence, the bus stops and taxi rank will be temporarily re-located between Friday 14th and Sunday 16th July inclusive as follows:
BUS – The bus stops will be relocated to the other side of the roundabout outside Nostro Café Costa for both directions (Arenal & Pueblo).
TAXI – The taxi rank normally located outside Chino Hong Kong will be relocated to the other side of the dolphin roundabout, outside Farmacia Salomé Martínez.
Vehicular access to the Duanes de Mar and the port area will be via Avenida Jaime I, except on the day of the presentation (Saturday 15th July) when there will be fireworks launched at the end of the ceremony so access will be changed to Calle Doctor Fleming.
The Policía Local will be putting out the necessary signs to re-direct traffic and ask for the collaboration of all residents and visitors as well as those driving vehicles during this coming weekend.
