Enrique Villarreal, better known as El Drogas and “one of the leading and most respected rock artists in Spain” according to the organizers, is the first headliner to be announced for the 10th edition of the Montgorock Xàbia Festival. The singer and his band will make a stop in the municipality as part of the commemorative tour for the fortieth anniversary of the Barricada group that Villarreal formed and led.
Another of the latest confirmations is the young Madrid band Playa Cuberris which has been touring the country to promote their latest album Gigantes, filling out most venues. In addition, there will also be Devil Bone Dust, whose repertoire combines their own songs with versions of great songs that range from the most classic to the most contemporary blues, southern rock, soul and country. These last three confirmations are added to the lineup already made up of La M.O.D.A, Morgan, Sexy Zebras, Nat Simons and Coracones Eléctricos and more acts are due to be announced soon.
