Xàbia Council has signed off on the project to install a new sewage network “MONTGÓ 3” in Camí Castellans after the final phase has been completed, a two-month job which has cost 151,250 euros.

The local council confirmed that the project has been carried out correctly by PAVASAL and according to plan. The work involved the construction of an 87 metre pipe, an outstanding task on the original contract, and the resurfacing of the entire street where the pipeline was installed.

The new sewage network will serve a total of 567 homes in the Castellans zone in an area of about 81 hectares. The houses have been connected to the network and will be able to discard their sewage and other wastewater for treatment at the plant in Camí de les Sorts.
