Mig Any Loreto celebrations will turn the port shops in into a photo gallery
The shop windows of various establishments will host the exhibition, allowing passersby to enjoy the photographs and encouraging shopping at the diverse local businesses that in the port.

One of the major new features of this year’s Mig Any celebrations of the fiestas honouring the port’s patron Mare de Déu de Loreto will be a Photography Exhibition located in nine businesses in Duanes de la Mar, showcasing all the images submitted to the Photography Contest organized by the Festival Commission during the 2024 festivals.
In order to present the awards to Francisco Alvado, Sonia Soria, and Ana Català (the winners of the contest), the Fiesta Commission decided to do so in a special way, highlighting all the photographs participating in the competition. Aware of the fundamental role that businesses in Xàbia, and specifically those in Duanes de la Mar, play in making the festivities a success each year, the Commission has decided to involve them in the Mig Any celebrations given the dynamic nature of the celebration, which brings together numerous residents in the fishing village each year.
Starting this weekend, the shop windows of various establishments will host the exhibition, allowing passersby to enjoy the photographs and encouraging shopping at the diverse local businesses that in the port. The selected establishments are: Estanco Aduanas (Plaza Adolfo Suárez), Casa Mata (Calle Pío X), Chapeau and Azura Skin Boutique (Calle Cristo del Mar), Dolce Pecatto (Calle Andrés Lambert), Farmacia Garcés Morales (Calle Sevilla), Bertomeu Grau and Óptica Ockio (Avenida Jaime I), and Miraltall Carns i Formatges (Calle Doctor Fleming). The Fiesta Commission would like to express its gratitude to all the businesses that, from the very beginning, have expressed their willingness to participate in this initiative.
The exhibition includes photographs from professionals, amateurs, and local residents who captured special moments of the festivities. The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday 22nd March 22nd on Passeig Jaume I, halfway through the Mig Any celebrations. The photographs will remain on display until March 31st.
