Mercatap returns on Halloween night to offer tasty tapas and entertainment
The food and drink will be accompanied by live music and entertainment
The great gastronomic festival of MERCATAP is returning on Tuesday 31st October, an evening of tasty tapas, refreshing drinks and live music and entertainment, starting at 7.00pm and continuing throughout the evening until midnight.
Several stalls from the municipal market will be offering different snacks such as pulled pork cocas, torreznos (fried pork belly bites), burritos, putxero meatballs, figatell skewers, marinated prawn lollipops and mackerel served with citrus pickle. Each snack ticket is priced at 3 euros whilst drinks will be 1.50 euros.
The food and drink will be accompanied by entertainment with La Marina Lindy Hop group dancing to the rhythm of swing music whilst there will be live music with Mossen Bramit Morera i Els Morts providing appropriate tunes for Halloween night.
The festival, organised with the collaboration of the Sellers Association of the Municipal Market of Xàbia and the Department of Economic Promotion, aims to make the municipal market – also known as the ‘indoor market’ – more visible as a space for gastronomic events as well as the sale of quality products.
