Mayoress Rosa Cardona receives Czech ambassador and goalkeeper Antonio Sivera

Mayoress Rosa Cardona received the ambassador to Spain of the Czech Republic, Ivan Jančárek, the highest representative of this eastern European state in our country who spends his holidays in Xàbia and wanted to greet the recently-elected mayoress.
The two had a relaxed conversation in which they talked about Xàbia, the future, and the possibilities of increasing relations with the Czech Republic and the municipality.
The mayoress also received xabiero goalkeeper Antonio Sivera, who currently plays for Deportivo Alavés, the Basque club which won promotion to the top tier of Spanish football at the end of the 2022-23 season after success in the promotion play-offs, beating Valencian side Levante UD in the final. The player presented the mayoress with a signed #1 shirt.
