Marta Bañuls resigns as a councillor
Responsible for economic development in the town, Bañuls explained that her resignation is due to personal reasons.

The councilor responsible for Economic Development in Xàbia, Marta Bañuls, has announced her resignation at the plenary session held this Thursday which will be the last in which she will participate.
Bañuls explained that her resignation is purely for personal reasons as since she joined the local government seven years ago, she has raised a family and set up a business, “two things that take time.” For this reason, she said that she has made “the decision to close this stage” of her life and dedicate herself to her family and her business.
The socialist councillor expressed her gratitude to mayor José Chulvi “for giving me the opportunity” to be a councillor and to her colleagues from the PSPV “for always supporting me” as well as to the people of Xàbia and especially to the “people of Duanes, the neighborhood of which I have been a councillor”.
