CF UD Calpe lift themselves away from the wrong end of the table after a narrow 1-0 win over CD Thader, not so long ago a contender for a top-three spot. The single goal came in the 67th minute, scored by former CD Jávea striker Cristian Gil “Panucci”. CD Dénia slipped one spot after a 2-1 home defeat to promotion-chasing Novelda UD CF.

Three first-half goals scored by Joan, Aliou (a penalty) and Destefano secured three more points at home as CD Jávea maintained their mid-season charge for the top two. It was the third successive home game that the ‘rojiblancos’ had scored three goals – and recent arrival Aliou Diop has accounted for seven of those nine goals. Jávea maintain the group’s best current form along with CD Betis Florida – and both sides meet next weekend in Alicante.

CF Orba move into 6th spot after a 2-1 away win at bottom club CD Dénia ‘B’.

CEF El Verger remain in second, despite having a rest weekend, thanks to CD Pedreguer only managing a 1-1 home draw against FB Teulada-Moraira ‘B’.
