Lucy Crosbie finishes runner-up in Optimist A Cup in Altea
In Valencia, pair Arantza Reix and Ángel Poveda debuted in the 420 class.
Lucy Crosbie was the best ranked sailor from Club Náutico de Jávea in the Optimist A tournament that was hosted in Altea last weekend.
This was the second regatta of the season for Optimist A class sailors, and Crosbie took second place in the female category behind Blanca Ferrando of Real Club Náutico de Valencia and finished 11th in the overall classifications.
Also competing in the event was Jorge Momparler (23rd), Kevin Lenis (27th), and Amelia Baker (58th).
Meanwhile, in the grand bay of Valencia, Arantza Reig and Ángel Poveda of Club Náutico de Jávea debuted in official competition in the 420 class and finished 4th in the overall classification as they continue to train to adapt to this new boat.
