LOS REYES MAGOS 2024 | THE ROYAL CAMP ARRIVES IN XÀBIA

The camp will be open for two evenings before the arrival of the Three Kings. Royal Emissaries will also collect letters in the port.

The festive season is not quite over as anticipation grows, especially amongst the youngsters, for the arrival of three very special people: the Three Kings of the Orient. As once again, the days leading up to this exciting moment will be filled with fun activities for all the family, including the arrival of the Royal Camp amongst the trees of the Parque Montaner.

As has long been tradition, Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar will be arriving by fishing boat at 5.00pm this Friday, welcomed by many hundreds of people before they join their entourage to parade through the town and greet the children. However, the youngsters will be able to make sure that Their Majesties are aware of their wishes when the Royal Emissaries visit Xàbia.

Royal Camp Xàbia

On the evenings of Wednesday 3rd January and Thursday 4th January, the Royal Camp will appear around the Riurau d’Arnauda next to the Parque Montaner above Plaza de la Constitución, the market square.

The Royal Emissaries will be present to collect the letters from the children whilst the whole family can visit the birthplace of Jesus and experience life over 2,000 years in Biblical times through its trades, such as carpentry, baking and the blacksmith.

However, the boys and girls will not be be able to observe but also participate with clay, palm and macramé workshops whilst there will also be a photo opportunity for all the family next to the friendly Royal Camel from the Far East.

In addition, there will be a bar service with drinks and snacks at popular prices.

Programme – Wednesday 3rd January 2024
16:00 – Inauguration of the Royal Camp Xàbia.
17:00 – Opening of the clay, palm and macramé workshops.
20:00 – Children’s Show with Theatre and Dance by Artistic Director Marcos Pons.

16:00 – Doors Open.
17:00 – Opening of the clay, palm and macramé workshops with various performances by the EnDanza dance school until 21:00.

Royal Emissaries – Port

On the evening of Tuesday 2nd January from 5.00pm, the Royal Emissaries will be visiting Duanes de la Mar, parading through the streets with their entourage and accompanied by music before meeting the children in the courtyard of the church of Mare de Déu de Loreto to collect the letters full of wishes from the children.
