The local police force in Xàbia has improved its fleet with the acquisition of a new incident van and a car with a security screen for the transfer or prisoners or people who behave violently.
The two vehicles are being updated after four years thanks to the leasing contract and they are being incorporated into services with better services than previous models and with extra material such as rotating signs and a public address system that can be used to convey information, a defibrillator for cardiac emergencies, more hygienic furniture and a speed gun to control and monitor the speed of vehicles around the municipality.
Mayor José Chulvi and councillor Pepa Gisbert (Public Safety) were able to take a look at the new vehicles and made clear their commitment that police officers have all the necessary material to adapt to the new roles and develop their work in the best possible way, maintaining this important part of society.
