Local artist Toni Marí donates a sculptural railing to Xàbia
The donation highlights local talent and strengthens the connection between art, nature and the town.
Xàbia Council has announced the installation of a new railing at the end of the Arenal promenade, a unique work that it says transcends its functionality to become an artistic tribute to posidonia, one of the most valuable natural treasures of the Xàbia coastline.
This railing-sculpture is a creation of the renowned local artist Toni Marí, who wanted to pay tribute to this marine plant so characteristic of the waters of Xàbia and essential for the preservation of the Mediterranean ecosystem. The work has been donated to the town hall by the artist, through all the established procedures, and is now available for residents and visitors to contemplate and enjoy.
The design of the railing blends harmoniously with the natural surroundings of the promenade, inviting reflection on the importance of caring for and preserving the sea.
The council is deeply grateful to Toni Marí for his generosity and commitment to the municipality, highlighting how this donation highlights local talent and strengthens the connection between art, nature and the town.
