Live music returns to Xàbia with ARS NOVA. The choral group will be performing Fauré’s Requiem Op. 48 which, due to the health situation, has had to be postponed on several occasions. On this occasion, two concerts will be offered that are part of the twentieth edition of the ARS NOVA Festival. Both performances will take place in the historic church-fortress of San Bartolomé in the heart of the historic centre on Saturday 20th March at 8.30pm and Sunday 21st March at 5.00pm. respectively. The concerts will pay tribute to the victims of COVID-19 and those who have been and who continue to face this pandemic.

The solos will be performed by the soprano Teresa Albero, and baritone Rodrigo Esteves, who both have a wide international career. There will also be Francisco Pineda on cello and Silvia Ferrer on piano and organ, and all under the baton of Pere Vicalet.

It is necessary to remember that, for current health reasons, it will be necessary to reserve a seat (with a maximum of 4 people) by calling 965 794 344, from Monday to Thursday from 08.00pm to 2.00pm.
