LIONS CLUB DONATES 3,200 EUROS TO SOCIAL SERVICES IN XÀBIA
The money will be used to support the most neediest families in Xàbia through vouchers at Masymas.
The LIONS CLUB DE JÁVEA has delivered a cheque for 3,200 euros to the Department of Social Services in Xàbia that will be used to support the most neediest families in the municipality through the distribution of vouchers to buy essential goods in Masymas supermarkets.
The cheque was handed over at the headquarters of TAPIS, the pre-employment integration workshop for people with mental illnesses in Xàbia, to which the Lions Club has already donated a washing machine.
The councillor for Social Services, Fátima Jarjor (PP), visited the TAPIS headquarters with a member of the Lion’s Club board of directors to learn more about the work done by the workshop users who have been focusing on making Christmas decorations which are available through the TAPIS social media networks (Instagram and Facebook).
