José Luis Luengo becomes new PSOE councillor to replace Marta Bañuls
In another change, Pere Joan Sapena replaces Oscar Anton as PP representative councillor.

José Luis Luengo is the new councilor of the Municipal Corporation of Xàbia. He took office during yesterday’s plenary session, replacing Marta Bañuls, who resigned from the local council last month due to personal reasons.
Councillor Luengo will assume the powers of cleaning and maintenance of plots; occupation of the public highway; funeral and cemetery services; burning plan and parks, public gardens and trees.
The Corporation will continue experiencing changes in the coming weeks since the councillor from the Partido Populares municipal group Oscar Antón also presented his resignation and leaves politics after almost 16 years as councillor. He will be replaced by Pere Joan Sapena.
