Javea Players Summer Dinner Show – What could possibly go wrong?
The popular summer dinner show will run from July 1st to 6th in the heart of the historic centre.
Summer is coming and therefore also Jávea Players’ very popular Summer Dinner Show from July 1st-6th. There will be an excellent al fresco 7-course tapas meal at Bar Imperial in heart of the historic centre of Jávea, followed by a performance of Last Tango in Little Grimley in the Casa de Cultura.
Little Grimly Amateur Dramatic Society is in trouble. The membership has dwindled to four – the audiences aren’t much bigger – and if they don’t come up with some rent money soon, they’re going to be thrown out. “There’s only one thing that sells tickets these days” argues Gordon the Chairman. “Sex!” Thus begins the chaotic and hilarious build-up to an evening of extraordinary home-grown drama – an evening the locals would never forget!
Penned by David Tristam, an English comic playwright, who has published 29 play and comedy novels which are performed by amateur and professional groups all over the world, Last Tango is one of the most successful short comedies every produced for the amateur stage.
